The State of Georgia canceled the Amber Alert late wednesday morning (11-04) after the girl was recovered safe. No information on where the child was found or the status of the suspect is available at this time.
I am glad they found her, question, do you know anything about the missing 7 month old? I briefly saw it last night on nancy grace, I am not sure if it was an amber alert or not. I know they are not releasing the parents name.. could you let me know if you know anything .
Her name is Shannon Dedrick. She is 7 months old and is from Florida. An Amber Alert has not been issued but an Endangered/Missing Alert has. Police are currently focusing their attention on her babysitter who sent a letter to Gov. Charlie Crist months before baby Shannon vanished pleading with him to save the little girl from her drug-abusing parents.
