Amber Alert Canceled for 7-Year Old Florida Girl

To my Gather friends,

It is with deep regret that I must report that the body of 7-year old Somer Renee Thompson has been found. Her little body was discovered in a landfill in Folkston, Georgia.

Deputies this morning are continuing their search for whoever killed Somer. There are no suspects at this time.

May you rest in peace, Sweetheart.

It is just horrible. I think it is a reality check for many parents as well, and I know I will be holding my sons' hands just a little tighter, when we walk home from school today.
