AMBER ALERT: TWO MISSOURI CHILDREN

An Amber Alert has been issued by the New Madrid County Sheriff's Department for Crystal Langley and Edgar Langley, Jr.

Crystal's Description:

6 years old

42 inches tall

Long blonde hair

Blue eyes

Edgar's Description:

5 years old

40 inches tall

Brown hair

Blue eyes

Wearing a blue shirt and tan short

The suspect is Edgar Langley. He was last seen driving a dark blue Chevy 4x4. The children were taken by their father, Edgar Daniel Langley, after he assaulted his wife, the children's mother. Langley was last seen on Highway 53 in Poplar Bluff at 7 P.M. on 7/27/09. He made threats against the children's lives and any police officer coming in contact with them.

This guy really is stupid. He has scarred his children, physically abused his wife and will go to jail for a long time once he is caught and tried.

My concern in these situations is that he'll feel cornered and kill his kids and then himself.
