The State of California issued the Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon after the children were reportedly abducted in Norwalk earlier in the afternoon. The children's father left them in the vehicle with the engine running while he went inside a business for a few minutes. The abductor reportedly jumped into the vehicle and drove off with the children inside.
Noel Vasquez a 5 year old Hispanic male, 3', weighing 45 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing white shirt with red Spiderman shorts.
Sheryl Lynn Vasquez a 2 year old Hispanic female, 2' weighing 25 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt with flowers and white shorts with dots.
The suspect is an unknown Hispanic male last seen wearing a white shirt and dark shorts. He has a shaved head.
The suspect vehicle is a 2005 dark blue Toyota Scion with California tag number 5HPC820. The car has dark tinted windows.
Anyone with information is asked to call Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, 562-863-8711 or dial 911.

Oh, Bob, another heartbreaking story......I am so thankful for you and these Amber Alert posts.........everybody needs to be made aware of these poor innocent children who are being snatched from their homes, parents, cars, etc......it just makes me want to bawl......seems like there are more and more every day. Say....have you heard anything about the little 5 yr. old, Hayleigh, in Florida? She's been gone several months now......so scary!

here, children are taken away without question if found in a car alone!
I have personal side of it as I was almost abducted in a store parking lot as an adult, however, when he didn't get me, he went to another store and abdusted a 12 yr old and then raped her and left her in a field......her mom just ran in to get milk.
Does this disappearance of children ever end? Every day there are more children missing. Where we work is on a busy road and not in a very safe area. Yet the parking lot of our work several days a week has barefoot young children, often little girls, riding bikes there all by themselves or with just one small friend. I'm talking about kids that are maybe 5 years old. Some are even young enough to be riding tricycles with no parent or adult in sight. We don't even know where they live. Its not even safe for them to be riding there with cars going in and out much less with the chance of being kidnapped.
I hope they are found safe.

That is why you can't leave kids in a running car. Too easy for a carjacking with them there.
