1-year old Lluvia Cortez abducted Saturday in San Bernardino ha been found.
An Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning for the child, whom police suspected had been abducted from her home in San Bernardino by Alejandro Cortez, 30, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
A San Bernardino Police Department employee who declined to give his name said the baby had been found but would provide no details.
Cortez allegedly assaulted the mother of his 23-month-old daughter Saturday in San Bernardino and abducted the girl, prompting an AMBER alert before the man gave his daughter to a relative who gave her to police, a police lieutenant said.
"Several hours later, Garcia surrendered his daughter to a relative who released her to a San Bernardino police officer, and the AMBER Alert was canceled," Koerner said.
Garcia remained at large, and anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call San Bernardino police at 909-384-5742 or 909-384-5619.
The Amber Alert was canceled, but there was no immediate word on the condition of the child or the status of the suspect.

I normally do not remove Amber Alert postings from the group, but since this one has been canceled, I will go ahead and remove this post.
