AMBER ALERT: 15-YEAR OLD MOTHER & INFANT SON

A 15-year-old Southfield mothe has gone missing with her infant son, according to an Amber Alert sent out today. Her parental rights had been terminated.

Brielle Marie Robins has taken her son, Amari Maurice Gibbs, who was born in August. According to the alert, Robins — who is 5-foot-4, 130-pounds — was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt and pink flowered pajama pants. Amari was last seen wearing a blue pajama suit with footies.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Southfield Police Department at 248-796-5500 or 911.

I feel for the child... However I would like to know the back story as well such as why her rights had been terminated. I hope both are found safe.

Being that she is 15yrs old and a mother, she is probably angry that she does not have her baby. I'm praying that they find the baby, safely!

How scary. I hope she at leats trieds her best to take care of him while she is on the run and then realizes she is hurting the baby an dherself by running.

I think you are wonderful...keeping everyone abreast of the Amber Alerts. We, in Florida, have recently started Silver Alerts for missing elderly. (Alzheimer patients that have wandered off on foot on in a car.)

Wearing footies? Wait a minute... Something doesn't sound right here. It sounds like the mother has some common sense for putting footies on her baby.. Now, why was her rights terminated? Makes me wonder. Hmm.... I hope the child is found safe
