AMBER ALERT: 3-YEAR OLD NEW JERSEY GIRL

Police in Elizabeth, N.J., have issued an Amber Alert for Jessica Alexandra Alvarez, 3, who was last seen at a store on Broad Street, where she was with her mother who was shopping. Police say that Jessica was playing in the toy area when she was led away by another woman.

Jessica is described as Hispanic, about 3 feet tall, and 30 pounds. She was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt with a picture of a dog or cat on the front, and tan/beige pants.

The suspect is a black woman in her late 40s to 50s, about 135 pounds, with long curly black hair (believed to be a wig). She was wearing a teal/blue/green jacket and a dark colored shirt.

Police do not believe that the suspect got away in a car.

If you see the suspect or the missing child, please call police at 911.

That is terrible. I have walked the streets of Elizabeth, NJ a lot, and it is quite a scary place. I sure hope they find her safe soon!

MYFOXNY.COM -- Police in Elizabeth, N.J., have canceled an Amber Alert for Jessica Alexandra Alvarez, 3, because the child has been found, according to a report. It is unclear what condition she is in. Security camera photos show a woman leading Jessica away from a thrift store where the girl had been with her mother.
