Our good friend Sherry W (happypinkbunnies) is expecting a baby very soon & since we're all so happy for her, we're throwing her a virtual baby shower right NOW.

There's a big sister and big brother at home who are very anxious to meet their new baby sibling! We're all having a great time and Sherry will pass along any messages to them so they'll also be included in the fun.

Sherry - I can imagine people say you look tiny because you're all BELLY, right? I mean,,, you have such a small frame and it doesn't look to me like you've gained anywhere else.

Oh wow, Marsha, that's amazing! It took me a while to lose the weight after DD. It was easier after DS, but he had a severe dairy intolerance and I found out that dairy puts a lot of weight on me when I cut it out of my diet!

I was HUGE with both of my girls. My first one weighed in at 9 lbs and the second one at 10 lbs.

It's a zoo in here right now! My daughter keeps throwing her lovey (a bunny) at me and laughing hysterically. At least my son is still napping!

My others have been on the smaller side of average - 7 lbs 6 oz and 7 lbs even.

All the babies in our extended family have been on the large size. My brother weighed in at a whopping 12 lbs. Mom had a pic of him at 10 days. He looked like he was 3 months old.

Both of my others were inductions - one for a water leak, one for high blood pressure (but more because it was 120 degrees out and I was tired of pregnancy).

hi again.....tried to resize the pic for you,Sherry,but it never happened at photobucket...strange ominous noise,and then bam!....page closed...hehehe...my poor pup ran off since i had my sailor mouth going 90 to nothing!...LOL...

and Faith, there are not any Sonic fast food places out here,but the ads show up constantly.....i am not a big fast food eater anyway since not diabetic friendly,but some things on their tv ad look tempting.....

I am inducing June 36th if I make it until then.. I was dilated to a 3 with my last son for a week.. they said if I had not induced that day I probably would hvae gone into labor anyways so IM thinking since she is measuring 2 weeks big like he was that I may have her before that day too!

I was miserable at 39.5 weeks with DD. I was crying and couldn't get comfortable no matter what I did. Ugh. Wasn't ever super uncomfy with DS. So I figure the 39 week mark is pretty key when it comes to comfort.

With DS, I was at 4.5cm a few days before my induction. Then when I went in to be induced, I was back at 2cm! I was so mad!

my only child, a son, was 10 lbs. 21 inches with a head full of long black hair sticking straight up ...one of the nurses called him little bear.....was an emergency c-section...they said he was 4-6 wks early and had he gone full term he would have been 13 lbs or over and would not have made it.....now he is out of the nest living la vida loca...LOL....

Hi Connie! I'm doing ok - mainly tired these days. DD and DS are increasingly excited, yes. DD keeps asking if she can hold the baby once s/he comes. :) It's nice since she wasn't at all interested when DS was born!

I was induced 2 days early with my son. We were told we would be prepping for an emergency c-section as soon as the doctor got there, but then he was born before the doctor even got his second glove on. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz.

Oh, I've felt sick during all three pregnancies. :) I sort of just don't think about it, but I do take an anti-nausea drug every day.

Well, Travis came home with dinner - that was fast. Ick, Taco Bell... oh well, that's what I get for not going grocery shopping. Hopefully I'll be able to go later tonight (by myself, yay!) so at least he'll have stuff for his lunch at work. I feel bad because he's had to buy lunch for the past 2 days before we've been out of lunch stuff. Guess I've been slacking.
