Dear Drake and Lily,I am so excited that you are going to be my big brother and big sister. I bet you guys are going to be way cooler than Mom and Dad. I watched you guys playing when I was in Heaven and you looked like you were having SO MUCH FUN!!!! I fell in love with you guys and I knew that this was the family I wanted to pick to be a part of!!! I want you to be my family!!! When I am really little and need Mom and Dad to help me do everything please don't get mad and please don't be jealous that I am getting so much attention, remember I would much rather be able to walk and talk and play with you guys!!! All babies start off not even able to lift their own heads! You guys were that little once too! I can't wait till I am big enough to hug you and tell you how wonderful you are and how much I love our family. I hope you guys will love me too!!! I know Mom and Dad will love me because they kind of have too but YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!! I hope with all my heart that you will love me to!!!! That is why I asked God to let me write you this letter as a special Christmas surprise and let you know I CAN'T WAIT till I am big enough to play with you!!!!! Lily you sing so beautiful, while Mommy or Daddy are holding me sometimes helping me to grow bigger will you come sing me some of your pretty songs Mommy loves so much, I already love them and can't wait to hear you sing them to me in person and I know it will make Mom happy because she loves you so much too!!! You were her first baby you know and Dad loves you so much it is as though he has always been your Daddy and he loves you like his own!!!! Drake, you are so creative, while they are holding me sometimes could you make up a story for me and tell me a story? I know they love that too! You were Dad's first baby! Mom loves you as though you were her very own too!!! We are such an awesome happy family, We all love each other so much and are so happy and I am so glad you guys are going to give me a chance to be a part of this with you!!! I am so excited about getting to meet you guys and can't wait to have you as my big brother and big sister, we have the coolest family in the world!!!!!! By the way could you tell Mom and Dad that they are Pregnant and going to have me next summer???? I am in Mom's belly right now and have actually been hiding here for six weeks HA HA HA that is so funny! That is why she has been so extra tired and felt so sick all the time!!!! I will try not to make her too much sicker but I have to use some of her energy to help me grow!!! If you guys behave really good for her it will help!!!! I am planning to be here in AUGUST!!!!!!THANK YOU!!!!! I love you both! Please tell Mom and Dad I love them too! See you soon!!!!!

Drake (9)and Lily(6) noticed the stocking right away and said "Who is that for?" I said "I don't know, bring it here" so he brough it to me and I pulled out the letter ( we had made two copies) I said "It is addressed to you and Lily they are the same why don't you read it out loud Drake" He started reading the letter and Lily's face lit up instantly and she was really excited clapping her hands quietly and excitedly listening as he continued to read. He finally got it when he read the part "oh by the way tell your Mom and Dad they are pregnant," And he gasped and dropped the letter smiling and grinning, then finished reading while laughing. Both kids hugged us and were really happy for us. Lily all day was so cute, I thought she would be jealous or upset and sulk for part of the day but she wasn't at all. She was very loving and helpful and it was sooo cute she kept coming over and patting my belly saying, " Mommy, I think you and the baby (sometimes she said babies) need to sit down and rest for a while now." She was also afraid to sit in my lap cause she didn't wanna squish the baby but I pulled her into my lap anyways and told her it would be fine!!!
Matt's Grandpa was so happy when we told him he got tears in his eyes. He said another great grandbaby was the most wonderful gift! He is a sweet man, I am glad to have made him so happy. Matt's whole family was happy with the news. My family was happy and excited too!!! One of the little cousins also asked me if I was having twins (out of the mouth of babes LOL) it is way too soon to tell of course but I will keep everyone posted!
Lily was really cute this morning too. The kids are out of school still so Matt took off work to stay home with them. I was leaving for work and as I walked past her room I heard "MOMMY" so I went in and kissed her and asked her "Baby, what is wrong?" still half asleep she mumbled, "It is too early, you and the baby need more sleep. Hurry back to bed now because it is almost morning and you don't have much time" That made me laugh. I patted her head, stroking her hair a few minutes and told her "baby why don't you get some sleep for us, we gotta go to work now!!" she said "ok" and was unconscious again before I even got up from the bed. It was really adorable! I am so blessed with beautiful wonderful children and a wonderful husband. MY life is in a really good place right now, and for that I am thankful!
