The fact that he's an illegeal is really irrelevent. There are enough drunk drivers is this country to have taken his place behind the wheel. This is just an unfortunate inncident that undoubtedly will be used as propaganda to support the eviction of the illegals. (which I support fully, kick there sorry buts outs at gun point if neccesary.) I just hate to see an unrelated incident be used as ammunition when there is plenty of legitimite ammo available.

This is what I think should happen. Why spend thousands of dollars to ship these people back to there own country. Why not catch them and force them to work off the cost of sending them home, no pay, you come here and get caught you either better have the cash to pay for your deportation or we're going to force you to work, Maybe we could make them build a bigger fence to kee their cousins out. If your caught again, you get fined which you have to work off as well as the cost of shipping your butt home, if you have a family they go now and you stay to cover the cost of shiping all of you home. Its terrible when an American does this, if they are caught they are punished, but if they are an American, they are here legally. This doesn't change the fact that some innocent person lost their precious life due to someone breaking the law.
It is even worse if the person is an illegal who did this, because he/she shouldn't of been here to begin with and if they weren't in this country, some innocent life may of been saved. That's the point to this story for those who missed this.
This is not the first that this has happened. I think they should prosecute these illegals harshly. I watched a news segment on tv the other night. For each illegal who comes into this country, they liter about a bag or two of garbage each one of them. This adds up, they leave the trash behind so that someone else can clean up after them.
They also, pointed out the millions of dollars of drug trafficking that the illegals are bringing into this country. I don't feel sorry for them. We need to get rid of all of the illegals, let them go back to their own country and trash it up.

To any parent there is nothing worse than losing a child. To lose a child in an incident such as this is even more horrible. This would have made the news no matter what nationality the driver maybe. But the fact that the driver is an illegal alien simply serves to further fan the flames of anger of those of us who want the borders closed and all illegal aliens, no matter their nationality, gone.

Our government continues to fail in its responsiblity and accountablility to We the People. Perhaps if our government had been doing its job this might not have happened.

This drunk driving death case is not irrelevant to the overall subject of illegal immigration. The fact is, the number of traffic fatalities caused by illegal aliens is astronomical. Reason ? That's an easy one. 90% of these people have NEVER DRIVEN
A CAR BEFORE THEY CAME (INVADED) HERE. Since just about everything they do, they do illegally, that includes driving. They don't go to motor Vehicle offices, don't take driving tests, don't get licenses or registrations. They just go out and buy a cheap car
and a stolen license plate, from another illegal alien (and it's often a stolen car too).
Then, they just go out (with no driving experience) and start driving. It seems like every time I hear about another bad accident, it's one of them causing it. No wonder.
Many illegals also cannot read (in any language). That's leaves out road signs doesn't it ? I recently put up a sign on my lawn for the alien landscapers to not step on
my newly planted grass. They stepped all over it. I said to them, in Spanish, can't you read ?" - they said no they couldn't. I asked them if they could read,in English or Spanish a certain word - 4 of them they looked at it and all said no, no lo comprendo.
The word was STOP.

Thats a very good point Robert, my brothers truck was smashed into, like bad smashed and it was parked at a grocery store. The person drove off without a word. the video showed it was a bunch of mexicans in a little car. He never got a dime for the damage.

If you really want my oppinion, then what they should do is send all the illegals back to their home countries and then they can try to do it the right way. If they can't get in that way then thats just tough. I'm tired of hearing how people are getting hurt or killed by people that shouldn't be here in the first place. But if they get here some how and kill an american citizen, they should be sent to their home ccountry and never let back into ours at all. Why should we pay to keep them in a prison in the U.S.A. when you can send them home and let their own countries have to deal with them and their stuppidity. Plus, if we still have a lot of trouble with that countries people trying to get into our country, then our government should cut out any and all aid that is sent to that country so they will help to keep their people from trying to enter the U.S.A. illegally. Look at the way Mexico tries to stop their people from entering our country, they don't have that many men to stop people from crossing illegally. Its almost like they want their people to make it over here, that way they are the problem of our government and not theirs. Maybe we should set up machine guns that will automaticly shoot near the shadow in the field. But if they keep coming towards our land then the bullets will get closer to them until they will get hit themselves right at the fence so they stay on their side. Why should we keep paying for the scum of everyother country when we have enough of our own to get help to, for a lot of reasons. I hope you like my ideas, but if you don't put your own ideas in here.

Why does it matter that he is an ILLegal, well when an "illegal" is allowed to stay it usually pisses people off more when he should have not been allowed to exist here illegally. And when an Illegal commits a really bad crime and mexico tries to get them off death row because they are a MEXICAN NATIONAL and mexico doesn't believe in the death penalty, case in point the two girls in texas that were brutally beaten, raped and killed. The convicted killer is on death row and now mexico and president bush is trying to get him a new trial. THAT is what pisses people off when those who are here illegally are given special privileges, are not asked about their status, and most of the time when they do something this horrible we find out that they have convictions a mile long and were never deported. THAT is why ILLEGAL matters.

Yeah, think I will give Bill White a call tommorow and let him know yet again that his policies have killed yet another innocent person. I live outside of houston but still the problems of living next to a sancturay city filter down, we are periodically told of restaurants where "illegal" workers have been passing TB to customers and you just hope you havent eaten there. Two of my friends identities have been stolen by illegals using their SSN to work and while they were at it used their
credit rating to get credit cards, cell phones and etc. You can go to academy in houston and never hear one word of english spoken while you are there, signs in spanish, you as a non speaker of spanish are treated like you don;t belong. Want adds in our newspaper say bilingual preferred, mexican flags fly as frequently as american. Unless it is stopped this is coming to a town near you!

Mike Huckabee is quoted as saying that we americans have treated other minority groups so bad that he feels as if god is giving us one more chance to prove how well we can treat the illegals now. I refuse to give up on Texas. Hopefully the tide is changing alot more people are tired of it all. I remember when all anyone had to do was say that we were racist and they won the debate, not anymore. When they could use the word immigrant instead of illegal immigrant and get away with it. When I would bid jobs and the homeowner just wanted a cheaper price, now they ask about legality of my workers. I just filled out a job packet today and one of the questions was do your workers speak english? My construction company has suffered over the years because I did not hire illegal workers but it is finally in some small ways paying off. We are not buying into the propaganda that "they are just here to work". And then the killing of the dream act, that gave me more hope, so i haven't given up!
