While I was getting ready to go to bed this evening, something new popped into my inbox. After reading the message I wondered about what kind of girl would really contact this site and become one of their performers?

I simple cannot believe what companies are expecting young women to do to earn a dollar.

This is the last thing I really wanted to see at the end of hard day of trying to reach out and meet a nice man. I feel like a piece of meat that is does not have the right market value to be wanted. I worked out really hard today and have been on my diet now for a couple of days and I am struggling with myself image enough as it is. At times it feels like there is not a moment's break from being blasted by the media with images of skinny women parading themselves around for a very captive male audience.

Wow. But think of all the people that probably DO think it's an easy way to earn a buck and do it. Dr. Phil house had a couple on today, and the guy didn't really care that his wife was a stripper. He didn't love it, but he said he supported her. She said she had to in order to survive. It's sad, really...

Oh for the same reason that the "Girls Gone Wild" videos sell so well. It's really said to thing a person has to exploit themselves to feel special or get attention.

Lora, I think that men also struggle with issues like this. The GI Joe action figures represented an unrealistic body image as well. I remember reading about it years ago in a magazine. I saw a guy that looked like that running down the street though the other day and I will admit that i stared a bit ;-)

I know a few people that would do it. And they'd think it made them special. Of course, the women I'm talking about are all losers who can't string together a cogent thought.

I got that too. Sorry but I think they do a good job. There is no "send us your picture and we will tell you if you are what we are looking for" and they dont require nudity or even your face and you can do whatever you want.
I say if people are willing to pay you for something you have go for it.
