I am planning on posting an article shortly to this group letting people know that if they feel like they can't dedicate time to send people Birthday Wishes, and they're only in the group to have a chance in the spotlight themselves, then they can remove themselves because that is not why I set up the group. It takes a lot of effort for me to write my featured articles, send out emails and comment to the Birthday Week people, and I don't think it's fair that I should put out that effort for someone's Birthday Week and try to promote their content if they haven't taken the time or effort to go to the other people's articles.
This group is a year long commitment and that may sound strange to some people, but you know what I mean!
So, yes - Eileen - I completely understand where you're coming from and I respect your decision. I hope that my upcoming article will narrow the group down to people who are all there for the same reasons.

I would like to say sorry for taking a while to get to your article. I have been away from gather for a while and I am finally getting to the 3000 plus emails I have awaiting me on here to go through. so I am starting from the most recent received to the first I ever received....
