Before and After: pre-pregnancy & pregnancy

It's amazing isn't it. I enjoyed my pregnancy. All except the bed rest part. I had a few minor problems during my pregnancy.

Yah, I enjoyed my pregnancy too. It's such an awesome experience! And, how amazing that your body can stretch so far and then go back! I have a picture of me at 20 weeks and you can't tell I'm pregnant (I'm in a tahitian outfit, doing a tahitian dance and you really can't tell). 4 weeks later, I look like I have a basketball hidden in there. That was a really quick change! What was cool was getting pics of my oldest daughter when she was pregnant. The cycle is amazing!

I've never had children, but its amazing what the human body can do. My husband's sister is pregnant with her first child and she is so huge. She's 7 months along and she looks like she's 9 months along. I don't know how that poor girl is going to last another 2 months!! :@)

Heavenly Father sure knew what he was doing when he disigned women didnt he? It is amazing the wonderful blessing of motherhood

Beautiful pictures! I have 2 girls and I weigh more than I ever have in my entire life. But I would do it again in a heartbeat!

I took monthly pictures during both of my prengancies too! It's crazy what a short period of time can do to you!

Sharan B: You're welcome for being brave and sharing my body changes with all of you. I like to let you guys in on my life, and this is just one way for me to do that. I appreciate the nice comments, I think it's pretty darn amazing too and this was my 3RD BOY, if you can believe that one.

Nana: Thanks, I'm glad I took them. With my 1st 2 pregnancies, I actually didn't even do this. I took pictures right at the very end, but that was really it. For this pregnancy though, I finally had a digital camera and was able to take pictures of myself, so it worked out. I am 15 pounds heavier now than I was in the first picture (me in the red tanktop) so I'm really not that much bigger, but I just don't have any full body shots to show anyone. I think the next "Before and After" article I'm going to post is the ultrasound pic, the day he was born, and then how he is now at 7 months.

This is really neat Faith. I never thought to do that with my pregnancies. I bet your kids will enjoy that too, as they get older.

I took pictures monthy with both my girls starting at around 3 mos. But I didn't look nearly half as good as you did. What a cute little basketball hiding under those shirts! LOL! I was bigger than a house and was told I looked like I was having twins with my first and she was only 7lbs 15 oz. I was so swollen and puffy I went up 2 shoe sizes and 5 ring sizes during that one. Things weren't so bad with the 2nd one though. But I still weigh about 40 or so pounds more than before I got pregnant with my first. It's a lot tougher for me losing the weight after my 2nd than my 1st. I guess age and the pressure are big factors. Anyway, great pics! Thanks for sharing!

wow Faith you had such a tiny belly compared to mine. I was huge I will have to dig the pictures out and post them. You had such a cute belly!

Faith, you were shining all the way through (at least in those photos.). I am sure you had all the yucky days that we all have, but really I think you looked pretty in that last photo.
I loved my first 3 pregnancies. Each was different and my body changed differently. I was never brave enough to photo journal it. I was not very comfortable with my last one because she was laying feet and fists out and almost broke my ribs. We tried everything from massage to different sleeping positions to get her to turn around. The doctor could do nothing but tell me how sorry he was for me. I still hold my ribs when I walk because of the habit I got into with her. Maybe with time that will go away.

I loved being pregnant, too. Sometimes the little one would kick me so hard, I'd wake up. Other times, when I was trying to eat at the table, I couldn't sit up close to the table cuz of the belly! *LOL*

Leti: I know exactly what you mean. My babies would always kick me really hard too, especially when I was trying to sleep. That is so funny that you couldn't sit up close to the table.

Great stuff, you do look good when you are pregnant. I have a few picture of me that I took as well . I loved being pregant even with all the health issues .

Beautiful! Pregnancy is so amazing. It's intersting how much our bodies can go through and handle during all those months and through the delievery. This is great to have. I wish I would've had more photo's during my pregnancy. My hubby and I wanted to have some professional photo's done too but they were to expensive. You look wonderful.

hey! i found a really cool, only slightly used rubber ducky in the municipal landfill. it kind of glows, and needs a little cleaning, but i bet rylan will love it!

You look great!!! I LOVED being pregnant and can't wait to have another....although I'm trying to lose the 27 pounds of baby weight for the SECOND time....I had 3 surgeries after my daughter was born and gained it back after I had lost it. Now no matter what I do I can't lose it again....aaahhhh, but it was definitely worth it. Nothing more amazing than growing a healthy beautiful baby. Congrats!
