In trying to find books to pass on, I am gleaning books from my bookshelves... and reading them. This one had been purchased decades ago, started and set aside. I figure it's time to read it and pass it on.
It is very much a child of the 70s - he prose is silly at best, repetitive and self-explanatory.
Since Watergate had been a recent occurrence when the book was printed, there's a huge section dedicated to the goodbyes from the Nixon administration after the scandal erupted.
Some of the poetry is better than other selections.
