skipping christmas

Imagine a year without Christmas. No crowded malls, no corny office parties, no fruitcakes, no unwanted presents. That's just what Luther and Nora Krank have in mind when they decide that, just this once, they'll skip the holiday altogether. It's been a few years since I read this but it was an good book. It is not John Grisham's usual fare though so if you are reading it just because of the author you might be disappointed.

I loved this book. I saw the movie (it was funny, but it was much different from the book). I'm a big John Grisham fan.

Dunno, the movie was so predictable and just plain silly - and that says a lot coming from a Princess Bride fan... I think the time I spent watching the movie may be all I want to spend on this one. Surprising though - because I do rather like Grisham novels most of the time!
