The last of her kind - book review

Again, characters in a book who are about my age. I remember all the historical allusions and references. I remember going to college in the late 60's and the radical movement of that era. The book is set in NYC, so I knew many of the settings and landmarks.

Two college roomates (in Barnard) - one from MONEY, the other from a small town she couldn't wait to escape.

There are similarities and differences. Their lives take separate journeys.

The themes are friendship, family, who we are and who we become.

This book also took many twists and turns and probably could've been much shorter (or a few DIFFERENT books).

I hate when reviews give it all away, so I mostly write my reaction to a book and what the themes are.

Fleshing it out doesn't mean giving it all away, but it does take more effort to possibly win over potential readers (think "buyers") then what you posted. The Review is a sales tool. (offered to help you become a better reviewer - I hope it is received that way, and not as criticism of your writing.) Good Luck!
