I found some information about the meaning of on which finger you wear a ring. I thought it was interesting so...I share with you

The meaning of Rings.

Wearing a ring on your thumb represents your parents.
Wearing a ring on your pointer finger represents your siblings. 
Wearing a ring on your center finger represents yourself.
Wearing a ring on your fourth finger represents your partner.
Wearing a ring on your pinky finger represents your children.

I don't know about ya'll, but I really need to take my thumb rings off. Ack.

I didn't realize each finer had a different meaning for rings. It makes sense, I just never thought about it before.

I only wear one thumb ring. Does this mean only one parent is the one I want to remember always, first and foremost? Thank you for the information about significance.

What is wrong with representing your parents, your supposed to honor them so why take off the thumb rings? Interesting article however did not know each finger represented someone. I only wear rings on my 4th finger for my spouse and love of my life. I am not a big fan of wearing lots of rings. But interesting what each finger represents should I want to do so.

For me, I removed one of my thumb rings, since one of my parents is not due honor of any sort.
So I guess I'll be like Erica..one lonely but well loved thumb ring:)
Unless I go back to Hedi's view and ditch them both...

I love rings, in many cultures they are a symbol of wealth, or how much your spouse values you. I'm guessing somewhere among those cultures is where the meaning for each finger comes. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd look it up! lol

A wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger which is the finger that represents your spouse/partner.
