Four years ago Larry was bored at work. For some reason he went to our local Humane Society's web site. We had talked about getting a young dog as a playmate for Chipper. He was 14 already.
Our Humane Society keeps their site updated every hour. He found this cute little ball of fluff named Darkett at the time. He called me and had me get on the site. I liked what I saw. We went that night when he got off work. As the saying goes, and the rest is history.
She is a wonderful Toy Poodle. She was mistreated before we got her. She has no idea how to play. Her name is Shadow because she stays with me at all times just like a shadow. She is very protective of me as well.
I would like to introduce you to Shadow Milius. Actually she thinks it should be Princess Shadow Milius.

It was a plugged anal sack. Our vet didn't do any more than he had to and even cut his amount. He did say as soon as Larry found work we needed to get her in because her teeth were bad. They hadn't been before.
Anyway, a couple weeks ago she started to sneeze. It just a couple at first. Now it's about 30-45 seconds od hard sneezing several time a day.
Larry looked it up and one thing that causes it is a tooth abscess. Dr. said she had one really bad tooth at the time.
We will take her in tomorrow. We are using the money we got from the insurance to repair our minivan. A garbage truck ran into Larry. It's not hurting anything. It's just not pretty anymore. Shadow is more important.
