Finally, the four little bluebird eggs have hatched.
I was sneaky and took a few pics. Their eyes are still closed.
Stay tuned for more pics later, as they grow.
This is soooo exciting!!!!

So cool, only one day old. It was a task getting the camera inside the house.

I had to be quick, Mom and Dad were watching!

Feed me!!! They are so sweet!

They already look like bluebirds... kind of! :)
Stay tuned, more pictures to come.

Sweet! My baby robins flew the coop a week ago. Isn't it fun to watch them grow?
Yes it is awesome. This is my first time!
You are so luck and sneaky...LOL
Thanks a ton for sharing. I love shots like this.
Patience is all it takes Jackie. Thanks!
Oh how neat...I can't wait to see how they grow.
Me too Janet, I will keep you updated.
Aww..so cute!
I love watching the development of baby birds. We has orioles that hatched near us. We can't see inside the nest but enjoy watching the parents fly around bringing food back to them. Soon as one parent shows up all you can is loud chirping. Been trying to get pictures of the parents but they have been too quick for me.
The door of the house easily opens to the outside, so that made it easier for taking pics. It is so cool how they keep the other birds away too.
Check out the Mom & Dad photos.. I have an album of them, all taken from my back glass door... in the rain.
ohhhh, very nice
Sweet little baby birdies!
Oh my goodness, how wonderful, can't wait to see them growing up!!! =~D
I know, me too!! Dustin would LOVE this.
Indeed, I know he would have, I can see the delight that would have been in my Patrick as well, we loved discovering together once upon a time!
Once upon a time, thanks for your support Ruth. We must hold on tight to our memories.
In the words of the great Billie Holiday, "They can't take that away from me.." Nothing ever can, that's ours forever......
How true that is Ruth. Forever in our hearts.
Good nature photos. It's heartwarming the way bluebirds have returned from near extinction.
Yes it is John.
This is such a treat. We can hear the baby birds around us but can not see any of the nests. Enjoy.
Thank you Lynn.
Adorable! So exciting!
Yes it is Sherrie. I am out there every day with my binoculars!
That's OK, I don't have any bluejays yet.
Awww" Wonderful Babies !!! Nice Clear Pictures,Great Job !!!
Thank you, had to snap them really fast!!
I used to have nestboxes where I lived before. I would pair them up and have Tree Swallows in one box and bluebirds in the other. They would help each other keep the house sparrows away (house sparrows will KILL adult and baby bluebirds, so beware!) They would also help feed each others babies... that was really neat to see.
Thanks for sharing this... I really miss having the bluebirds around. I live in a village now and I put up a box but so far only those nasty house sparrows have tried to use it (and I WON'T let them either!) and I haven't seen a bluebird here at all. =(
Joy, I know sparrows will kill the eggs and the babies, I have a sparrow-resistant house. Don't know anything about tree swallows. Thanks for the info!
Oh how neat, they are so tiny and cute. What a great experience.
Thanks Nana. I am having so much fun!
Thanks so much for sharing this with my group.

How cool! Great pictures.
Thanks for your visit John!
They are so tiny, fragile, and will be so very demanding of their parents! What a gift to be able to see their progress here :)
Yes, it is a gift Tonia. The Mom and Dad are in and out, in and out constantly. So cool to watch.

You got the camera inside the birdhouse? Great shot!
The door opens to the outside, I opened the door, and stood (on a stepstool) right up to the front, and snapped the pics.
