Today was an absolutely perfect day outside.
I wish our Florida summers were like this - 75-80 degrees and sunny blue skies.
Looking out the window this morning I spotted a beautiful, shell pink, ruffled Hibiscus flower.
Come along for a walk in my garden -
Jimbo is already out here hunting lizards.
First stop that gorgeous hibisbus - it looks so delicate.
Pretty ruffles....
Of course - now I have to remember to shake off any bugs, because the close up shots really do show it all .....
Isn't it lovely?
There is Jimbo - our resident garden cat -
doing what kitties do best -
sunning himself.
The bougainvillea is lovely this time of year.
I love the hot pink against the blue sky.

The little garden nymphe is enjoying her resting spot
amidst the green ferns under the old oak tree.
The impatients are still hanging in there - these decided to seed themselves in one of my orchid pots.
Here's our plain red hibiscus, but I've noticed it is becoming lighter in color and showing striations - some of the flowers even look like they are vanilla striped from the underside.
That's fine with me, I think they look pretty - whether they are a deep red or a light orange.
Almost translucent - like rice paper.
Jimbo decided to follow us around in the garden - he likes people company and he particularly likes a visit from his gather friends.:)
Thanks for coming along - until next time!

I'll be in Orlando tomorrow, I can't wait for some sunny, warm weather~
Kerrell - Jimbo is a cool cat unless you mess with him then the claws come out:)
Marianne - Jimbo sends purrs and says thanks:)
Priscilla - lucky you - it should be nice there tomorrow.
We have lots of strays around here, but we tell the boys not to pet them. When we went to visit my friend on Sunday she had a great cat named Rosie, and the boys loved her. Now, they are both asking for a cat.
Of course I told them that we cannot have a cat, when we cannot let it go outside because of the traffic around us. I cannot wait until the day that we can have pets:)
I have the same pink hibisicus, well mine is dormant for the winter after the hard freeze last week.
you have a wonderful eye with the camera dear friend ~ much love and southern hug to you ~J
Jimbo...you are one gorgeous feline!
What a paradise your garden looks to be ~ lucky you.
