I've got to tell you, meeting your Gather friends in person is the best! On Saturday I met up with Victoria, Phyllis, and Marianne, along with Victoria's dear husband and wonderful children. Everyone met at my house here in Myrtle Beach, SC before heading off for a quick lunch and a fun day at Myrle Beach State Park. We had such beautiful weather and a great time. I'd like to encourage all of you, if you live close to one of your Gather friends, try to set up a fun meeting. I have met with Marianne, who is from Georgia BTW, before, and she had met Victoria and Phyllis that same weekend. I have long anticipated meeting Victoria and Phyllis after hearing about the great time they had during their meeting back then, plus just communicating here on Gather I knew we would hit it off since we had a lot of common interests.
After a fun lunch at Mickey D's we headed down the road to the state park and along with taking a lot of photos, we had a really fun day. We all love taking photos, they even took pictures at my house before we headed out, so a lot of the time was spent taking pictures. Marianne loves to geocache and she shares her hobby with us when she visits SC. You can read all about her fun geocaching adventures when you visit her page. Myrtle Beach State Park is a wonderful place and I think we all hated to leave. Here are a few of the pictures I took.

I had such a wonderful day and I can't wait to do it again. Thanks so much girls for making me laugh and have fun. I haven't had this much fun in a very long time. You are all great.

I am glad that you finally got to meet some more Gather members. Victoria and here family was home for Easter but it is just so far away. It is a 9 hour drive for us to visit them. I miss them so much.

We had a blast and I can not wait for our next adventure!! I love all your pictures, especially those of Haley and Parker, - you captured those at the perfect moment! Did you notice a comment that was left on my page that you and I looked like sisters??
I just thought that was so cool.................!! I really had a great time, - it does make you feel like a kid again to get with fun people and and a fun time! Victoria and I will plan to go see you one day, - we can just hang out together. You are a darling person and I am so thrilled to meet you and getting to know you...........seems like we all have know each other for years!!!
I love your place too, - I have told my husband several times how much I love your little screened patio, - I know I could sit out there all day (and sleep there too) and do nothing but gather, read, nap, gather, read, nap................you got the idea!!! I love it! I am so glad you got to move to SC, - this is a beautiful area and I feel so blessed to live here! I also feel blessed to have met the 3 nicest girls in the world.........you, V and Marianne are 3 awesome girls and I just value our friendship....I truly am thankful for gather, - if no gather we would never have gotten to know each other!!!!
Like Phyllis I cannot wait until we can all get together again! Sounds like maybe end of May or sometime in June. Pretty much anytime works for me. We'll have to do a big family outing like grilling out or something and then something another time with just us ladies (no kids and no hubbies! LOL). You guys are all great and I'm very thankful that I've been able to get to know you (or should that be ya'll! LOL) You guys rock!
