We get to the park and in it was water sprinkler for the kids going full blast. I gave my digital camera and electronics to my husband, gave a little squeal and ran in after my friend's son.
I didn't care that my hair got wet.
I didn't care that I was fully clothed and would be soaked.
I didn't care about the other parents in the park who looked at me from the park bench.
It felt so good and I felt so free.
I got nice and soaked and sat down next to my husband and my best friend. They both looked at me and started laughing. I did too.
I spent the rest of the afternoon cool and drying naturally under the sun.
I LOVE THE SPRINKLERS!

As adults we tend to be so preoccupied by any possible inconvenience (wet clothes for example) that we forget that the fun makes it more than worth it.
I bet you scored some points with your friend's son as well. :)
Some of the adults were laughing as they fanned the hot air around themselves trying to cool off.
I use to play in the sprinklers all the time when I was a kid.
