I used to spend hours in the darkroom, getting rather high off the fixer, and later realizing that I'd lost a large chunk of field time stuck in this tiny cubicle. The digital arts has given me the freedom and time to create, extract, compose, and decompose both indoors and out. I use photoshop with add-on filters, including freebies I've pulled off the internet.
One of my favorite subjects is my dog Sweetpea who never tires of posing. She really wants to be a pin-up girl. And she may just make it. I've also played with montage's and mixed media that have given me very interesting results.
Some of my favorite photoshop tools are layers, the eraser tool, the clone tool, and burning and dodging. I've put up several images as illustrations of how I use photoshop. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them.
