I just bought a new digital camera!

I just bought a new Panasonic Digital camera on E-bay!  I can't wait to get it.... Yeahhhh    I saw the moon shot that Trevor J did with his and I was sold!  I have been checking into several different kinds of cameras and looking at his wonderful shot helped me make up my mind!  It's just what I was looking for!!!!!   The only problem is that my husband was planning on buying me a digital camera for our 37th anniversary on April 4th and I spoiled that plan for him.  I feel bad about that, but he's being a good sport about it and is happy I found the camera with the features I really want! 

Here are the specs, well some of them at least:

YEA!!! Good for you! You will have so much fun with it!
I know I do with mine. I am picture crazy and it would cost
me a fortune if I had to do it the old way with film and stuff.
I can get so many more pictures this way and just delete the
ones that don't turn out the way I think they should.

What kinda of media card does it use? Circuit City 's website had a sansdisk sd 256mb for free after rebate.

just curious how much you got one for that is what i want my next upgrade to be. dont for get the memory card for a camera like this you will want at least 1 gig you will fill i[ the 256 in a blink lol. but its always good to have extra ones expecally if their free. I go to radio shack or amazon.com for my memory cards they are usually the best deals i never pay over 17.00 for 1 gig that optical is great! mine is only 10 with 12.5 extended but to be honset i dont care for the extended at all. and i have the 50X went it comes to digital its ok but i usually shoot optical.

You are really going to enjoy that camera panasonics are the best made i think.

I just bought a Canon S3IS and am having a wonderful time playing with it. In fact, I took some pics yesterday that I need to download! (Off to do that now!)

that is so cool. I work at the local race track and with the money I make from there is going to buy my next camera. I cant wait. to some a new camera is nothing, but for the ones that love to take photos this is a big thing. I so glad for you. take lots of photo and show them off to us on gather. cant wait.

What a great find! 12x digital zoom? Wowee! I only have a meager 3x digital zoom. Ah, cameras, you are always wanting (but unable to afford) an upgrade!

Good optical zoom is a MUST for me now. I love my 10x optical. At the time that I bought my camera, the 6 mega pixels were much more expensive. WIth my budget, I had to decide between a higher zoom or a higher megapixel. I chose the zoom and, for me, it's perfect. I love my camera.

YAY for you, Trudy! One place that's great to check out for low prices (for stuff like memory cards) is Tiger Direct (tigerdirect.com). They're dirt cheap and we've bought a bunch of stuff from them without problem. I think they're owned by Office Depot.

Wow, sounds great ! I am drooling , But my Canon A430 is only a few months old, and I can't figure out how to use all the features that come with it yet . I think I need to find a magnifying glass so I can read the on screen features .
