Summer Reading

Summer is a great time for me to catch up on some reading because with school and all I don't ahve much time for leisure reading. I'm mostly into urban fiction, biographies and other modern novels but am open to almost anything. I'm starting the novel Middlesex (suggested by Oprah), but does anyone else have any other suggestions?

I read Devil in the White City last summer and it was terrific. I am currently reading The Kite Runner and so far it is pretty good.

I've heard Middlesex is an absolutely marvelous book, Porsh. This conversation, I've noticed, is from a while ago! Did you finish it? What did you think? I'd be interested to know.
