A Lighter Update on Mark, 8/11/09

Mark is much better today

He is walking all over the place

I know he is better, one look at him

I see the smile on his face

He is friends with all of the staff

They come in and take care of him

He jokes and gives them a laugh

And today his beard got a trim

He is anxious as heck to get home

to play with his camera and computer

And I, of course as his Mom

Think nothing could be cuter

So wonderful to see him so bright

Especially after what he's been through

But he's coming along very nicely

For your prayers he sends his thanks, me too

Mark underwent a nuclear stress test today with out incident. We will get those results in the morning. He is still doing every other day dialysis, hoping the kidney will come back, there is slight improvement. However, the case worker came in today and said they are finding him a slot for out patient dialysis if need be, and as soon as everything is coordinated, he will be able to come home. So good to see him in great spirits and laughing and talking, a week ago tonight I thought it wouldn't turn out this way. Thank you for all your prayers, I know they helped, love, Elsie

So glad Elsie. Great news on the stress test, no stent, or anything else it looks like. He sounds a little like his mother, laughing with the staff, a great personality. God love you both.

We find we have more fight in us. Mark sounds like he is beginning the slow process of recovery and acceptance. His humor and friendliness will make it easier for all.

Elsie, this is an answer to a prayer, well actually, in Mark's case, PRAYERS. What good news to end a night on. I am so happy for you all. What a relief. It has been like sitting on pins and needles. And I'm still going to keep on praying for even better health for Mark, and rest from worry for you, and all your family.

Elsie it is wonderful to hear he is wanting his computer and camera. That means your son is feeling better. When our sons want there toys, they are getting well. All our boys have toys, they just get bigger as they get older. My forty year old is into computers , my oldest too. but for a living. Big money toy. But daughter likes clothes. So when they get to sick to enjoy their hobbies or toys, I get worried. ,,,,,,,when they want them back I get happy.
