From 'This Side' Faith in 'The Other Side'
By Ruth Cox aka abitosunshine
Throughout our lives most of us spend a portion of our time wondering about life after death, or life on the other side. How do we deal with life on this side as we keep life on the other side in mind? Or, do we live our lives belying our beliefs about life after death?
As a child, I was abused,
In ev'ry sense o' the word.
But when my spirit was bruised
My cries weren't left unheard.
As an adult, I've been misused,
In ways unpleasantly absurd.
Yet I feel that those I've accused
To fate their payment is deferred.
Amid all, I've ne'er been confused,
In faith o' my God always spurred.
To Heaven's light I'll be suffused
That day I'll fly - free as a bird!

This, again, shows your care in drafting and command over the craft.
Pain is restrained enough to cut us. The yearning is almost a shrill cry. I would like to thank my fate for being a friend of you.
