I wish I could do anything

I could have done anything

I could have done everything

There was too much to learn

I did not need to learn it all

 

Lessons

 

You can try anything

You can try everything

There is so much to regret

I did not try at all

Thank you for sharing these thoughts in poem form David, they are so true and so important. So often, we don't 'do or try things' that we would so love to 'do or try' out of fear of failure, or plain old fear. I know I have to push myself to get past my fears. I've learned that failing isn't so bad - even in failure there can be joy and wonderful lessons learned, that can spur you on to your next success. The true failure - which leads to regret - is never trying at all. Thank you for the beautiful reminder . . .

Great words David. They exemplify a lot of feeling in many of us. Fears can paralyze you into doing nothing with your life and that can waste a life. Sad but true.

I love this and such wise words - I tried it all and still trying - life is flying by way too fast - I thought I was still 35 and suddenly I'm knocking on 60's door - the best and worse thing is that I'm not as smart as I was in my 20's - sad but true! Salud
