…I dream

Of life so sumptuous, so abundant

That every breath

Of it is blessed with heavens’ kiss.


 

 

I dream

Of world so vivid and exuberant,

Where one great joy

Permeates and feeds all that exists.


 

 

I dream

Of love eternal and victorious –

On Crystal Bridge,

Among the shining stars.


 

 

I dream

Of your embrace, so sweet and glorious,

To wash our souls

And mend the aching scars.


 

 

I dream

Of valor, courage and persistence

To cross the gates

Swept open for just a few.


 

 

I dream

Of strongest bond that defies distance

And know

That in the long run it comes true…

I guess it comes down to how you look at a poem. I saw hope out of all the possibilities of that life throws at us simply from referencing your last line to the other stanza.

I like the ... I dream start because it let's us know this is a continuing experience; a continuing hope.

It is good to live in the now and fully enjoy what is present with us in the moment... but it is uplifting too to think of "someday" being filled with happy moments that aren't quite within our grasp just yet. Beautifully expressed poetry, my dear.
