This book is a book that takes the book The Secret and expounds upon it. Walsch goes on to tell us that The Secret is only part of the story. He goes on to explain why the Secret has been ineffective for some people. He says the key is to move out of judgment and into gratitude.
An excerpt from his book:
...."When gratitude replaces judgment, peace spreads throughout your body, gentleness embraces your soul, wisdom fills your mind. Let gratitude replace judgment and our whole
experience will take a turn for the better in five seconds.
In five seconds......
This is because attitude is everything. Attitude puts the course correction in life when you
have stepped off the Path. Attitude is like the Map of the MInd. It is like a GPS of the brain.
A negative attitude will send you down the road to unhappiness. There is no avoiding it
It will absolutely happen, and it doesn't matter wiaht the problem. A positive attitude
will put you back on The Path to inner peace and happiness............."
If you are interested in changing your attitude and your life check out this book.
I highly recommend it.

I struggled with depression, anger, etc. I don't know exactly why, but one particular day when my vehicle broke down, once again, I was about to blow and start kicking the thing (like I typically did) and something... well... I don't know... it was more than a light bulb turning on... it was more like a smack in the forehead.
So the car broke down once again. Is there anything that I can personally do to change the situation? Can I effect my environment at all by being upset, depressed, angry?
The answer was no. My attitude was not going to change the fact that the car was broken down. My attitude was going to effect every part of the situation for me though. My allowing myself those feelings of depression and anger over a situation that my attitude would not change, well all I was doing was making myself feel horrible, for no good! Nothing about my negative attitude was going to make a difference.
I was about 22 years old. By realizing this and applying it to my life, I've gone from needing daily emotional exercises to keep myself calm, to not needing them anymore and feeling sooooo much better in my life.
Sure... there are some extremes that will wiggle deep down and push those buttons, but generally I get over it pretty darn quick.
