DIRT!!!! :)

Ok, so today was my first day of volunteering with the kids who were doing MINI 4-H.

IT WAS A BLAST!!!

First  when i got there I had no ideal what to do. So I signed in, an then asked Jeff (the head guy in the 4-H) what to do? An he said do you think you can handle making name tags for now.
An I was yah that sounds like fun.

So when I got over to that table where they were passing out name tags, there was just a bunch of girls around my age. An they were just laughing an talking an having a good time. Well they were very nice to include me in their conversation.
An then a bunch of kids started arriving.

So I had all these name tags an a black marker, an these kids came up to me, an they would show me this piece of paper(so i could spell their names right) an then I would give them their name tag an they were gone.

Well i had a good time with that. Because all the kids were very nice, an they were sweat.

An then as volunteers we were asked to go up front an entertain the kids until it was time to start.
So we did the chicken dance an i only remember doing that once "on skates"WHEW!
Then after that me an my new friend her name is Ashley it was our first year an we had no ideal what we were doing.

So finally they placed us with a group.

The flowers an soil group.

WE GOT TO PLAY WITH DIRT!! while the kids planted grass into cups.LOL

But it was just so fun.

An these kids, they really seem to look up to me. I didnt realize how much.

Well I am tired now....an I need to say goodbye to my lovely friends who are worried like crazy about me, an try to sleep.

But now everytime I hear the word dirt I will remember this day.

DIRT NOW MAKES ME SMILE!!! LOL :)
