My friend, Cate Montana, worked as a journalist on the "What the Bleep Do We Know" movies, and as editor of the Bleeping Herald (the periodic newsletter from the What the Bleep Do We Know website).
Cate now has put together an on-line publication called The Global Intelligencer. I highly recommend it. In Cate's own words:
"The Global Intelligencer is one small piece of the puzzle. Its mission is to serve as an information clearinghouse for topics concerning individual, social and global transformation, making it available on a monthly basis to a maximum number of people worldwide.
If this appeals to you, please subscribe. It’s free. And in keeping with this publications’ purpose, please pass it on to all your friends who are also holding a greater vision of humanity and what we are capable of becoming. "
The first issue has articles and columns on:
- The Arts ("Stand-up comedy takes on quantum physics");
- Science ("Innovative science: an oxymoron?");
- Technology ("The power of social networking", my contribution to this months publication);
- Society ("The greening of corporate America");
- Business ("Interactive healing videos transcend gaming");
- Life and Health (an interview with Barbara Marx Hubbard);
- Fringe ("These men think they are about to change the world")
I hope you enjoy it.
