The Forgotten Door - a book review

Published in 1965

A short science fiction type fable (or parable) about a boy who slips through a portal and ends up on Earth.  It has a Twilight Zone feel to it.

He is horrified by the way people live on Earth and he is hounded for his different ways.

A lovely little book, young adult oriented, with a strong message.

I highly recommend it.

This looks like a good one for me to read with my son. He's 12 and we've read the Harry Potter series together. Soon he'll be too old to want to read with me, so I'm going to take advantage of it for as long as I can. Thanks for the tip!
