I've exhausted my library and begin the search for new books to purchase and read. I've picked up a few history and a couple fantasy type books (think Eragon) but am not satisfied quite yet.
And so I turn to you, fellow gatherers.
What book are you reading now? What is your favorite book?
I will read almost any genre and enjoy anything fiction to non, be it business , IT, history to comedy, sci fi, or chick lit; above and beyond.
So, to all out there, what book have you picked up that you could not put down? What book have you read that has become dogeared from the constant rereading? Any really good ones out there?
Thanks!

A Wizard of Earthsea, book 1
The Hobbit
The Andromeda Strain
Canticle for Leibowitz
War of the Worlds
The Prentice Hall Anthology of Science Fiction & Fantasy
As for books away from the Fantasy genre, I'd recommend "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult, or "The Pact", also by Ms. Picoult.
"Survivor" by Tabitha King was a really good read, too.
I'll check out the books by J. Picoult as well....reading the synopsis right now on Amazon and they do indeed sound interesting.
Joe, ahh the must haves! I do agree, a wonderful book!
Christina..thanks! lol :-)
You guys are reading some really good ones!
Peacefully Evyl, thanks for the recommendations! I've never read Painted Bird (have The Kite Runner and enjoy it)..but just read the synopsis (and purchased it online..lol...sounds really good!
Thanks all!
It's a novel about two young men in New York City during WWII.
and I'm getting ready to read "For Whom the Minivan rolls" by Jeff Cohen.
