His offbeat characters always have something above and beyond the ordinary.
His love of dogs and use of their characters appeals to me greatly.
Excellent Reads!!!!!
My favorite author is Daphne Du Maurier - many of her books and short stories were made into movies - Rebecca, The Birds... to name two.
Fave books include: Song of Fire and Ice series by G RR M, The Sword of Truth series by TG, The Belgariad by David Eddings, The Tawny Man series by RH, Crown of Stars series by KE, etc etc. I have a LOT!
Thank you all for a great start to the day.
Stephen King
Mercedes Lackey
Ann McCaffery
J. Grisham
my favorite book of all time?
-smiles- actually it'd be the entire series The Chronicles of Narnia followed by The Once and Future King and then The Power of One.
The book is BRAND NEW and I got an Advance Review Copy so this is the latest scoop on this book!
The strongest part of Blue Water, to me, was how forgiveness heals.
A Game of Thrones - George RR Martin (fantasy)
Naked In Death - JD Robb (mystery)
One for the Money - Janet Evanovich (humorous mystery)
Sparkles - Louise Bagshawe (fiction or at least based on true events)
The Tea Rose - Jennifer Donnelly (historical fiction)
The Sundial in a Grave: 1610 - Mary Gentle (historical fiction)
The Fool's Tale - Nicole Galland (historical fiction)
The Black Jewels Trilogy - Anne Bishop (fantasy)
The Wayfarer Redemption - Sara Douglass (fantasy)
Dark Side of the Moon - Sherrilyn Kenyon (paranormal romance)
The Ring - Deborah Chester (fantasy)
Dark Lover - JR Ward (paranormal romance)
Kushiel's Dart - Jacqueline Carey (fantasy)
Outlander - Diana Gabaldon (historical fiction/romance)
Homeland - R A Salvatore (fantasy)
Dragons of Autumn Twilight - Tracy Hickman/Margaret Weis (fantasy)
And the list goes on but these are books I will re-read because they're favorites of mine.
If you start to read the Anita Blake series start with Guilty Pleasures (skip Blood Noir)
If you start to read the Merry Gentry series start with Kiss of Shadows
