Stand looking through the ocean
No boundaries I see
Imprints decades before
Etched on the pristine soft sand
No where I could see
Despite waves affirmation to it shield
Returning every day since I was
For it to be returned to me
Every set but I returned alone empty
A fine day then
Stood as I looking far at sea
Started to emerge where I stood
My trust returning to me
A hand that I felt on my back
I had to close my eyes
I knew who that could be
Times so past the writings still clear
Affirmations belief returning
As you turned me around
I opened slow my eyes
The eyes that I always hallucinated
Were actually there in front of me
As your arms me held
I knew all along one day
My heart skipped so many beats
When my belief returned to me
We watched the set standing close
Returning content and smiling
To the lonely abode that is now home
