On this day, you are a class
From the outside you stand right
You dazzle each glimpsing eye at your glance
From the breeze of your hair
To the curve of your shoe
Ravenous!
Your small mind, susceptible to your intent
Unable to hide your your dark drive
Desperate! written all over
Art for the gallery
Forceful! impression-driven
Your wings on a pedestal, attention pleading.
Unnatural!
Extravagance taken to high clouds.
For your stunt tonight
You could be a dinner tonight
Ending tonight
Cause it"s more than that I see, I seek.

Thanks for posting to my group, Anythingwriting
This was a interesting work which first shot outwardly. Perhaps a haughty presence; a character pretentious, attention grabbing, superfluous; empty, plying charm.
Perhaps this peacock is worthy of offering a meal to a crafty player who'll feed that hollow core the splashy attention it's vying for.
Perhaps it's a fair exchange... using each other, knowing the score?
The Surreal Circus
Will the gentle hand strike,
before knowing its own?
Who has a small mind that considers others before himself?
Where comes the offense when shadow boxing?
God bless.
