Pause Me In-Between

Pause me in-between the beauty of a rainbow
Arc built spectrum, of the sky to eye
Demure splendor, an illusion so inviting
Drift and float away, into secrets of the hues
Letting pleasant dream, of peace sink softly within
Enveloping, breathing, warmth of color, into, inside, soothe

Water fills an empty cup, praise for reflection
Reality takes siesta, mists gently kiss
Shoreline chorus, a melody of trees and occupants

Variety is natural, seeds awaiting to perform
Geometric dances with whispers on the breeze
Sunshine so fine, bumble bee, sharing the bounty
Words pale, the perfection, so pleasant to just be
Surrounded, flowing, heavenly estuary
Thankfulness and gratitude should each moment bring

Rivers of the sky, of the land, limitless soul
Inhaling a wind's journey, refreshing harbor
Anchor yourself, letting your dreams appreciate

I see in your poem an enveloping metaphor. I see water as a connecting link. From the mist in which the rainbow forms to the sea in which the anchor rests.
The pictures that you paint and this amazing collective imagery makes this a great work.

Yes Bill, this is a beautiful soothing poem!! Can you believe it hit 59 degrees here in our state today??? Amazing! It actually gave me spring fever!! But of course the temp goes down tomorrow to 47 and rain and then continues down on the coldward spiral!! :o(
