roses and wine
and wine and roses
sweet the scent
that comes with thorns
pleasure and laughter
accompanied with pain
we wish for the days
of innocence again
when smiles came with rainbows
and laughter fell in raindrops
winter melts and spring arrives,
summer comes and autumn goes
wine and roses
roses and wine
how I loved you
the summer before
and blown to seed
on every wind
the joyful thoughts
like dandelion fluff
wine and roses
and roses and wine
turn in turn
form wine to brine

yup, yup
Lydia, it is he Bohemian wild rose that grows in the fields and it has a very luxious scent and makes an incredible wine like tokay
if you look at Czech embroidery, you'll find this rose
hullo julian-- thank-you
thanks for the criticism on the border, but it won't change it one bit. I stole the rose, too, from the gas station lot, so maybe Gather Inc can hit me up for both thefts.
I don't write or ublish for Gather, so actually this is just something copied that I posted elsewhere, but then maybe I might be guilty of copyright violations for posting my material twice in two different places without the Almighty Consent of the Lesser Gather Gods.
And it's okay-- you can have your opinions, but I win tons of awards and erally I will just go on doing my own thing.
thanks for the input, but as you know not every coin that's inserted into the soda machine wins the bottle--some just drop through and other get eaten and some others yet get rejected.
but in this case, no bottle drop.
oriental wisdom is always another great choice for arcane quotations so maybe the Lesser Gather gods will be very busy today on this page trying to discover the name of the bad angel and the source of ancient oriental wisdom regarding soda machines.
thank-you Sandy. not sure it was worth the twice through because I was pissed when I had to do the line breaks three times over on another blog.
And since Gather Inc clocks all my links I will just leave it here

the green border is just fine. don't mind me, I'm just the one who put it together.
the beautiful miroslav played tonight and created magic with his lovely fingers... man what magic he makes
i used to write poetry and sometimes will scribble something down...my eastcoast bro is a pro poet,or "wordsmith" as he prefers....lovely words and beautiful rose that looks like delicate crepe paper...rich color and like the contrast of color within the comp....IMO, i think the border is too heavy for the image, but that is just my taste and surely doesn't effect the quality of the image 10+
really there ws no need to delete them and you can stick them right back up because I didn't take you comment very seriously either. I will not change a border simply because someone did not like it because it served it's purpose elsewhere.
no skin of my nose
the lark is singing outside
Maybe if you stick it back, you'll give Carolyn another busy day doing nothing
