Yesterday (poem)

Yesterday I thought of you

Yesterday is when I knew

Yesterday it all was clear

how much I hate you dear

 

Yesterday you went on and on

you told me you loved me

but I still knew

how much I hated you

 

Yesterday as your lies spilled out

I knew I had to get rid of you

without a doubt

I realized what you are all about

 

Yesterday I put it together

collected my thoughts

on my gloomy endeavor

now I am in hell, forever

 

Yesterday the brain fog did lift

we had a huge rift

a spat, a spackle, a fight

now I'm going to put out your light

 

Yesterday I did what I had to

I had no control

Your blatant ignorant lies

were  the end of you fool

 

Yesterday I thought of you

Yesterday is when I knew

Yesterday it all was clear

how much I hate you dear
