Cute Squirrels

I know a lot of people don't like squirrels but I think they're cute and I enjoy watching their antics in our backyard.  This link has a really neat photo of a squirrel checking out the photographer and if you scroll down there are some other cute fuzzy squirrels to enjoy.

I found a baby squirrel a few years ago - it had fallen on the outside the park side of the stone wall and didn't have the skills to get back over. I carried it for a while, trying to keep it warm. I had to return it to the park, near where other squirrels were. I have cats and wasn't ready to bring them a "toy".

That is adorable... I was once forced to eat a squirrel and trust me, they do not taste nearly as good as they look! Haha.  Now, don't send PETA after me! I was a little girl!

They can be quite entertaining, determined little guys they certainly are!  We loved watching them.  I used to let my son take plastic spoons with scoops of dollar store peanut butter and we'd stick them in the dirt in our yard by the ends then go watch through the patio doors.  So cute, they'd pull them out and sit and eat the butter just like a human would!
