Where did every one go to

All the people were running so fast

I can't find my mommy or daddy

Not since we heard that big blast

The sounds of guns firing off in the distance

let's me know that it's still not all right

How long until somebody finds me

Will I be here alone all night

Why is everyone fighting

Why is there always a war

Is there somebody winning

Is anyone keeping score

Right now it is so quiet

I'm afraid almost to breathe

I don't know where to run to

Mommy come look for me please

awesome job. My son has done 2 tours in Iraq. He shared some stories with me the other night. It's very scary knowing some of what he has seen in his young life.

Most of our immigrants were children like that. Getting by however they could until trying to get here anyway they could if they were still alive. But they worked hard for an honest dollar and became a U. S. Citizen and paid taxes . Even when I was young you could find a job anywhere at at age if you were willing to work. Maybe someone will take this child by the hand and give him a chance at a better life.
