WOW! Today is my 2nd Gatherversary. To be honest, I joined Gather through an invite I received on Judy's Book. I joined as a favor and then didn't return to Gather for several months, when I got yet another invite and realized that I was already a member!
I'm SO happy that I got that second invitation to join Gather becasue if I hadn't I would have missed out on so much! I have made so many lasting friendships here on Gather that wouldn't have been possible any other way.
I've had a blast meeting new people and making friendships with fellow Gather members! I've seen some fantastic photos and videos, read amazing articles and have even been involved in some Gather drama! Some things have been funny, some have been serious and some have broke my heart. That's what makes Gather special, there is something for everyone!
I want to thank all of my Gather friends and connections for being so supportive over the past two years! It wouldn't be fun without all of you. And thanks to the Gather staff for the opportunity and creating such a great place.

I know what you mean about this being a great place to meet people...I've only been here a few months, but I am amazed at the diverse group of talented writers and interesting personalities. It's really been a great experience for me.
