All the gas stations were charging $4.15 for regular today. It went up .15 over night. My husband is spending over $100. a week to drive to work.
What is going to happen to us all?
Are you feeling it? What are you doing about it?
How much food can we cut back on? Where else can we cut back?

Gas prices have been low for so long you have to expect that they were going to go up sometime. We are still low. My dad was in Poland last week and he said they pay $8 a liter.
We aren't wealthy so the rising costs of fuel and energy in general are noticed. We spent a lot more time at home and plan our errands better now.
We don't drive anywhere anymore. I drive to class at Villanova and that is ALL. I work from home (thank GOD), and my husband is thinking of bicycling to work (1 mile commute - lucky man!)
Our kids have gotten used to the only park that's in walking distance. We've explored all our local little shops to avoid driving everywhere. I found a nail salon that I can walk to. Our entertainment now consists of walking to the local Blockbuster and renting DVDs.
I'm going to look into purchasing one of those double-kids trailers to hook to my bicycle so I can take the kids to farther parks than our local little joint.
We've also planted 4 fruit trees and 2 garden areas. I'm now growing herbs in containers in the house (parsley, oregano, basil). We turn off just about EVERYTHING that draws power. Our A/C ONLY goes on when it's 90+ outside. We haven't been to a shopping mall in months.
I'm down to 1 tank of gas a month, and the only reason I'm stuck driving to classes is because all the online classes were FULL. Believe it or not, Villanova is considering doubling, even TRIPLING the number of online classes due to the overwhelming demand. The reason? GAS PRICES!
Thanks for posting to 3ForAllWhoEnter where I always give out tens!! Yeah Points!!
My heart goes out to all of you. God bless you.
