Saturday was Stephy' dance recital, she did three different dances and was beautiful on stage. There were 11 kids in her group and they danced a total of 3 different dances! Of course they all looked so cute in their matching outfits!
I was a back-stage mom along with two other's in our group! We had to keep all the girls entertained between their performances. We had snacks, sang and played games in the waiting area.
The recital was wonderful and the audience was packed, standing room only by the time it started!

They do look cute, but you're right....ours would NEVER wear something like that....we even glue sparkles or rhinestones on costumes to make them sparkle under the lights.
It shows how different the places we live are and the types of dance our girls do! There is a studio for dance like Angela does in Washington state which is about 30 miles away.
Stephy dances for fun, we just aren't as serious as some people are with it!
Angela just dances for fun up until now...next year will be different....but she'll also be 13 (and it will keep her busy, so she won't get in to trouble)
I just put up one of Angela when she was Stephy's age....the costumes are quite a bit different. LOL.
They look so cute. And I love how they look like little girls and not beauty pageant wanna-be's.
