Question about Netwinner

I got a card or should I say, I won a card about 6 weeks ago. I'm sure it's coming, but I've heard they're slow, so don't budget for it. I found it confusing to apply for it, but finally got it figured out. I think they are a rip, but you'll get your card eventually.

I noticed there's a $3 fee first-time fee, but that was all I saw -- and while I'm not betting on it arriving any time soon, a few extra bucks of food money is always a good thing, y'know?

Don't know anything about it yet. I keep losing my internet connection with them since I don't have broadband. I get bored so it will probably take me a couple years to get enough points to find out...lol!

I've heard it takes between 3 and 4 months for your card to arrive. The are extremely slow. Seeing how the Money Wheel won't even download under my account so I can add the points won to my total, it's taking forever to accumulate points just playing 10 games of Banko a day, which will add points to my total. The crazy thing is, the Money Wheel will download when I'm not signed into my account, but the points don't get added. I've contacted Netwinner about the problem...and was basically told it was my problem. At the rate I'm going, it's going to take over half a year just to get enough points for a $25 card...with another 3-4 month wait to receive the card on top of that. I'm starting to get tired of the site and may just drop it altogether. The time invested sure isn't worth the return.

I have yet to accumulate enough points to get a card. I only have about 5500 points. I don't seem to do very well at the games (if I'm lucky I win 3 or 4 of the 10 Banko cards and maybe 1 out of every 7 or 8 games of the Money Wheel.) The time invested versus the profit gained doesn't really seem like a good deal when I consider all the other stuff I could/should do.

I did it for about a week and then got bored- the games really aren't even fun.

I don't know Austin, I have heard some strange things about the site so I haven't joined, sorry I can be of no help to you at this time on this one!!!

I cashed out for a visa card on 11/12/07 and it has yet to be in the "fulfilled" status yet. I have had several people tell me that it takes about 5-6 months.

I think I read something this morning from someone who cashed out in September saying s/he got his/her card yesterday. So, it's taking them about 5 months to fulfil orders. It's totally ridiculous. They either need a more competent fulfillment staff, or they need to overhaul their system. It's probably a little of both.

As for fees, there are account inactivity fees that will come into play if your card isn't used for a certain amount of time. Not sure how the whole 'delay of fulfillment' problem figures into these fees; a lot of people are worried about being hit with non-use fees since NW takes SO long to send out the cards.

All I have heard is that they are extremely backlogged with getting the prizes out.

But, as you say, it will buy a few groceries when it comes.

It took about 4.5 months for me to get mine. Supposedly they are getting them out faster now, but I'm not sure if that's really what is going on or not. My husband ordered one in October that still isn't here yet.

As far as fees go, you have to use it to purchase something OR add money to it every 3 months to avoid the fees. When it's first activated (which you do when you receive it) you have 6 months, but after that it's only 3. So you won't incur any fees before you get it the first time, but you might before it gets reloaded, if it takes you longer than 2-3 months to get the points up to 25000 again.
