Here is my wish for you:  Happy October.  Every month this is our family tradition to wish each other a happy new month.  I am extending that tradition to my gather family of friends.  Anything special for you in October?

Mine are:

Two grandaughter's birthday.  One son-in-law's birthday.  Transplanting my plants.

I am having another fun filled month.  What about you?

Halloween is always fun but next month is my birthday so October is always my countdown month before I roll over into another year.

Happy October! My favorite month, not just because it is my b-day month. I love Halloween, I love the fall and the feel of winter not yet here. Halloween, with all the debate it stirs, gives a great opportunity to teach about tolerance and tradition.

Happy October Carol! Our big day in October is Halloween but we also have several other events coming up -- pumpkin picking, church fall festival, etc. It's going to be a busy, and hopefully a fun, month!

Okay, that's too funny...I just wrote at the top of today's To Do List "Happy October" and then while I was thinking of what I needed to accomplish today, I clicked on My Gather, and your article was right there! Wild! LOL!

We also have a TON of Birthdays in October...somehow, everyone I'm close to has a B'day this month, including my husband. Funny how October is approximately 9months after Valentines Day :)

In addition to the Birthdays, I'm looking forward to the outcome of the First Chapters Contest, Halloween and our annual Hayride out in New Jersey!

One of my cats is two on Wednesday and my fil is who knows how old on Thursday.
I have friends with October birthdays but no one in the fam.
We are having a pirate party this month though and really looking forward to it.

One child's birthday, my mom's birthday.

Muffins with Mom at school with my youngest. Fall Festivals. Pumpkin carving at home with the kiddos. Halloween!
