Introducing...My Mom and Her Mom

Some of you may already know my mom, but for those who don't,  I thought I'd formally introduce her to my "friends" and other gather connections...

 

My mother is the one who got me interested in gather - which was actually some time ago.
My mother is an amazing person - she was a single mother of four children, two twin boys, and two girls (I am the eldest). She is from New England, married to a man from the Netherlands, works for hospice as a home care provider, and is a big beautiful woman. Those are just a few of the facts about my mom!

I encourage anybody who is a friend of mine to consider adding my mother! If you enjoy reading the things I write here, you'll enjoy what she has to say also!

Wow, this is very cool. I've been connected to Sarina for a long time now and I've seen Barb around quite a bit, but for some reason am not a connection of hers. I'll have to change that, thanks!

Celisa- Keep in touch about the follow-up tests for your heart. And try Benecol spreads, like butter. They reduce cholesterol.

Bonnie - Thanks! I know you won't regret adding my Grandmother, she is a riot at times, but can also be sweet (though she doesn't fit the stereotype for sweet little old lady Grandma, that is for darn sure!).

Brenda - I want to repeat to you what I said to Bonnie - you'll enjoy my Grandmother's writing for the most part! She's awesome!

Hey Jane - I sure will keep people posted on the cholesterol and sugar stuff. I think I got Benecol in the fridge...I picked it out specifically BECAUSE it is supposed to help with cholesterol. I'm trying to figure out what else I can do to lower my numbers. i know I should exercise, but I have a hard time with that (excuses, excuses). I think I should start eating oatmeal daily...Anyway, thanks for the tip!
