My Dear Creatives,
What did you work on this weekend? Did you go fishing? Did you watch a game or two? Did you play with your grandkids? Did you golf, read, travel? Did you do nothing at all? Are you feeling guilty because perhaps you chose NOT to do anything creative at all?
I say cut it out! There is no need to feel guilty if you didn't do any writing or artwork.
Why? Because part of writing well and creating fabulous photos or sculpture, is having life experiences upon which you can draw (no pun intended). Without exercising your right to relax, indeed your right to choose what you want to do with your time, your creativity may suffer.
Your life is comprised of lots of things and those are the things upon which your creativity can feed. And even if sometimes you do nothing at all, that too, is food for your soul.
The week begins anew. Let your vision reflect your weekend experiences - no matter what they may (or may not) have been!
Best and keep shining!
