Soundtracking now has a group! Won't you come and join us?
http://soundtracking.gather.com/
At the Soundtracking group you will find all of my weekly columns , featuring interviews, reviews, playlists, music trivia and discussion. I will also be posting participation opportunities - so if you'd like to be featured in an upcoming column, here's your chance! You can also post your own music related articles, trivia questions, games, reviews, etc. You can also give any questions or suggestions you may have about Soundtracking.
C'mon down, pull up a musical chair - we're waiting for you at Soundtracking.
Soundtracking is your source for indie and alternative music, published every Tuesday to Gather.com by Gather Music Correspondent Laura Cushing.

I am off to see Rod Stewart in Sacramento today, tonight, whenever. I am jazzed. I saw him for the first time on March 15 in San Jose. He puts on a marvelous show. He does not disappoint.
If you want, more on Sunday, after the show.
The sound track of my life is a mixture of Beatles, Beethoven and R&B.

I am so excited! I am 55 years old and the only 'act'/concert I ever saw was Hank Jr and Montgomery Gentry in St. Ignace - and we were so far back they looked like ants.
This is to be a 4 day extravaganza with camping and the whole works - how can I not get within shouting distance of at least one of these???
Anyway, this may not be the group for my 'country experience' - but seemed to be the closed one I could share this with right now!!!!
Thank you for inviting me Laura. Now you can kick me back out. Country music, what was I thinking???
